CHARLESTON, W. Va. — A West Virginia federal judge has denied Boston Scientific Corp. summary judgment in a Pinnacle transvaginal mesh action, ruling that the claims are not time-barred by Arizona’s statute of limitations because the plaintiffs did not know what caused their injuries until 2011.

On March 16, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia concluded that the statute of limitations was not triggered until 2011, when the plaintiffs saw a mesh litigation television commercial and suspected that their device could be defective.
