SAN FRANCISCO –– The California judge overseeing the coordinated docket for DePuy ASR Hip Implant claims has signed off a proposed order that extends the five-year dismissal statute by two years.

In the March 2 order, Judge Richard A. Kramer of the California Superior Court for San Francisco County ordered that the time to bring an action to trial, as governed by Code of Civil Procedure section 583.310, shall be extended for an additional two years for each case transferred to the coordinated proceeding.
