CHICAGO –– The plaintiffs involved in the NexGen Knee Implant Products Liability Multidistrict Litigation docket have asked the court to issue an order compelling Zimmer Inc. to supplement disclosures regarding certain expert testimony, arguing that the defendant has not provided necessary disclosures for “fact experts.”

In the Feb. 3 motion, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the plaintiffs said that Zimmer has “shielded … ‘retained’ and ‘specially employed’ experts from the full disclosure requirements of subsection (B).”
