DELTA, Miss. — A Mississippi federal judge has awarded summary judgment to the makers of Reglan in a wrongful death case, finding the evidence shows that the decedent only ingested the drug’s generic form.
In a Jan. 12 order, Senior Judge Glen H. Davidson of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi explained that drug makers cannot be held liable under Mississippi law for injuries caused by drugs they did not manufacturer.
