Nearly 2,000 Cases Still Pending in Biomet Magnum Hip MDL, Status Report Says

SOUTH BEND, Ind. –– There are currently 1,938 cases pending in the Biomet M2A Magnum Hip Implant Products Liability Multidistrict Litigation docket, according to a joint status report recently filed with the court.

According to the Dec. 9 filing with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, more than half of those cases have been designated as “Group 2” cases. As of Dec. 8, there were no cases awaiting transfer to the MDL court, the report said.
