WASHINGTON, D.C. — A District of Columbia federal judge has transferred an Aredia/Zometa injury case to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, finding the facts of the case have the stronger factual nexus to the action.
On Nov. 26, Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia noted that the plaintiff was treated with the drugs primarily in Georgia and was diagnosed with injuries allegedly caused by the drugs in Georgia.
