SAN FRANCISCO — A California federal judge has ordered Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Inc. to produce notes of Mirena-related sales calls that took place between the drug maker’s sales representatives and physicians, finding they may support allegations that promotional activities minimized the device’s warnings.
However, in the Oct. 31 order, Magistrate Judge Kandis A. Westmore of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California limited production to the sales call notes that have already been produced in the related multidistrict litigation.
