MDL Judge Schedules Consolidated Trial in 5 Boston Scientific Obtryx Mesh Device Cases

CHARLESTON, W. Va. — The federal judge presiding over the consolidated trial of five cases that are part of the Boston Scientific Corp. pelvic repair device multidistrict litigation has scheduled opening arguments for Nov. 3.
In a Sept. 18 order, Judge Joseph R. Goodwin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia directed the parties to file deposition designations by Oct. 6 and any counter-designations by Oct. 14. Any counter-designations to an opposing party’s counter-designations are to be filed by Oct. 21, the judge ruled.
