NEW ORLEANS — A Louisiana woman has sued Arthrex Inc. in connection with its suture anchor used in her arthroscopic shoulder surgery, alleging the device caused her to develop cysts at the surgical site, necessitating a second surgery.
In the Sept. 10 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the plaintiff asserted claims under the Louisiana Product Liability Act, as well as claims of negligence and breach of warranty.
