Parties Involved in Upcoming Pinnacle Hip Implant MDL Trial File In Limine Motions

DALLAS –– Both plaintiffs and defendants involved in the upcoming Pinnacle Hip Implant bellwether trials have filed in limine motions, with the plaintiffs in part asking the court to preclude any mention that the plaintiffs’ surgeon’s skill was “substandard.”

The defendants filed their own motion in limine, also on Aug. 8, asking the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas to exclude evidence or argument on more than 15 topics, including evidence relating to ASR Hip Implant, testing not performed, and certain FDA-related evidence.
