DePuy Pinnacle Hip Implant Trials Ready to Begin Sept. 1, Special Master Says

DALLAS –– Two cases asserting claims against DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. for its allegedly defective Pinnacle Hip Implant are ready to begin Sept. 1, according to a pretrial report and scheduling order issued by court-appointed special master.

In the July 29 report, James M. Stanton of the Stanton Law Firm, P.C., informed the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas that, with a few limited exceptions, discovery in the case is complete and, as the court has ruled on all outstanding motions, the cases are ready to begin trial on Sept. 1.
