Zimmer Awarded Summary Judgment in Kentucky Hip Implant Device Case

ASHLAND, Ky. — A federal judge in Kentucky has ruled that a plaintiff who filed a products liability case against Zimmer Holdings for injuries caused by a hip implant manufactured by the company cannot proceed with his case without expert opinion or physical evidence supporting allegations that the device was defective.
