DePuy ASR Hip Implant Plaintiffs Who Opted Out of Settlement Seek Trials in Los Angeles

SAN FRANCISCO — Lawyers representing 26 DePuy ASR hip implant plaintiffs who have opted not to accept terms of a settlement announced last year have petitioned the court to have their cases moved from San Francisco to Los Angeles.

The law firm, Girardi | Keese, filed their motion for retransfer of the cases July 11, arguing that if their claims remain part of the coordinated proceedings in San Francisco Superior Court, it may be years before their claims are assigned a trial date.
