Zimmer Asks NexGen Knee Implant MDL Court to Remand 58 Cases Involving 5954 Tibial Component or Flex Articular Surface Product

CHICAGO –– Zimmer has asked a federal court overseeing the national coordinated docket for NexGen knee implant product liability claims to remand a number of cases, arguing that they involve products that do not fall within the scope of the MDL.

In the July 1 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Zimmer said that the cases in question involve plaintiffs who only received 5954 Tibial Component or Flex Articular Surface products.
