MDL Court in Zimmer NexGen Knee Proceedings Amends Pretrial Schedule, Bumps Deadlines by 60 Days

CHICAGO –– The federal court overseeing the national Zimmer NexGen Knee Implant Products Liability Multidistrict Litigation docket has issued an order reflecting an agreement by the parties to the pre-trial schedule in all cases, giving the parties a 60-day extension on a number of items.

In a May 28 order, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois pushed the pretrial schedule in all the coordinated personal injury cases by 60 days.

The new schedule allows the plaintiffs until July 15 to submit expert disclosures, while the defendants have until Aug. 19. Daubert motions are due by Dec. …
