TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida federal judge has granted plaintiffs’ motion to reopen and extend an expert disclosure deadline in a lawsuit against C.R. Bard Inc. concerning its vena cava filter, in order to allow plaintiffs to serve Bard with a complete expert disclosure regarding Dr. Murray Asch.
On April 25, Judge Roy B. Dalton of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida held that if plaintiffs comply with this deadline, then Bard may identify a rebuttal expert and expert discovery will be reopened.
