Man Can't Prove Vioxx Caused Stroke, Manufacturer Contends

SHREVEPORT, La.-A man who suffered a hemorrhagic stroke allegedly caused by Vioxx cannot provide valid scientific evidence to support a causal link between the drug and his stroke, states the drug's manufacturer in a recent motion for summary judgment.
