PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania federal magistrate judge has denied Caldera Medical Inc.’s request for an order requiring the plaintiffs in a transvaginal mesh case to share in the cost of producing electronic discovery, ruling that the expense of the proposed discovery does not outweigh its likely benefit.
On April 22, Magistrate Judge James Rueter of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania explained that the plaintiff’s discovery request is narrowly tailored and highly relevant to the plaintiffs’ claims.
