PORTLAND, Ore. — An Oregon federal judge has granted Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. summary judgment in an Aredia/Zometa injury case, finding the plaintiff failed to establish a genuine dispute of material fact as to whether any alleged deficiency in the drugs’ warnings was the proximate cause of injuries sustained by a woman suffering from breast cancer at the time she was prescribed the drug.
