ORLANDO, Fla. — A Florida federal judge has excluded the testimony of a plaintiff expert witnesses in a case involving a C.R. Bard G2 Vena Cava Filter, finding the expert’s chemistry degrees do not qualify him to testify because chemistry is not implicated by plaintiffs’ claims.
In a March 12 order, Judge Roy B. Dalton of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida further found that the methodology used by the expert in reaching his opinions does not support a finding of reliability.
