DePuy ASR Hip Implant MDL Judge Increases Common Benefit Attorney Fee to 5 Percent

CLEVELAND –– The judge overseeing the DePuy Orthopaedics ASR Hip Implant MDL has granted a recent motion to increase the common benefit attorney fee rate from 3 percent to 5 percent, noting that during a recent oral argument regarding the matter, no objections were raised.

In a March 3 order, Judge David A. Katz of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio wrote that the motion was considered unopposed and therefore granted.
