LAFAYETTE, La. — A federal judge has dismissed a woman’s claims that Stryker Corp.’s (NYSE: SYK) recalled ShapeMatch Cutting Guide caused the misalignment of her knee implant, ruling the claims were not pled in accordance with the Louisiana Products Liability Act.
In the Feb. 25 order, however, Magistrate Judge Patrick Hanna of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana granted the plaintiff leave to amend her complaint a third time.
