CLEVELAND –– Members of the plaintiffs’ steering committee have asked the court overseeing the DePuy Orthopaedics ASR Hip Implant MDL docket to bump the common benefit attorney fee number by two percent, saying that the three percent agreed upon as part of November’s global settlement is “insufficient.”
In the Feb. 12 motion, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee says that the original hold-back did not anticipate costly evolutions.
