COLUMBUS, Ohio — An Ohio federal judge has dismissed a surgical mesh case against W.L. Gore Associates, C.R. Bard Inc. and Davol Inc., finding the plaintiff could not prove which manufacturer made the mesh used in his hernia operation.
On Feb. 11, Judge Gregory L. Frost of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio further ruled that the Ohio Products Liability Act abrogates the claims against Gore.
