LONDON, Ky. — A Kentucky federal judge has dismissed a negligent misrepresentation claim against CL Medical Inc. in a suit regarding its I-STOP pelvic sling device, ruling that the claim did not meet federal pleading standards.
On Dec. 13, Judge Danny C. Reeves of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky found the plaintiff failed to identify the false or misleading information provided by the specific defendant and that the false statements allegedly made by CL Medical Inc. were a proximate cause of her damage.
