NexGen MDL Judge Withdraws Order Denying Zimmer’s Request for Supplemental Protective Order

CHICAGO — U.S. District Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer has withdrawn a Nov. 14 order denying Zimmer Inc.’s request for a Supplemental Confidentiality Order to limit access to documents relating to another medical device, but said a new order would issue within 21 days.

The withdrawal order was entered Nov. 15 following a status hearing with counsel for plaintiffs and Zimmer in the NexGen Knee Implant MDL, and Judge Pallmeyer has scheduled another status hearing for Jan. 17.
