WASHINGTON, D.C. — A District of Columbia federal judge has transferred a Zometa injury case to the Southern District of New York, ruling that considerations of convenience, the interest of justice, and the parties' consent all weigh in favor of transfer.
On Nov. 20, Judge John D. Bates of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia noted that the case has no ties to the District of Columbia and the plaintiffs’ alleged injuries occurred in New York.
