BALTIMORE — A Maryland federal judge has remanded a Humira brain damage case to state court, finding the federal court lacks subject matter jurisdiction over the plaintiff’s state law claims against Abbott Laboratories and the medical defendants.
On Nov. 5, Judge Ellen L. Hollander of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland further ruled that the court lacks diversity jurisdiction because the nondiverse medical defendants were properly joined.
