MACON, Ga. — The orthopedic surgeon who implanted Timothy Courson’s Profemur hip device and performed revision surgery should be precluded from offering opinions at trial on cardiac, pulmonary, psychiatric, or other topics outside his surgical specialty, Wright Medical Technology argued in a recent pre-trial filing.
Wright Medical’s Motion in Limine Regarding Witness Testimony was filed Oct. 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. An opening trial date has not been set but discovery is complete and District Judge C. Ashley Royal, who recently denied in part Wright’s motion for summary judgment, is considering the parties’ …
