INDIANAPOLIS — Counsel for plaintiffs in the coordinated Biomet M2a Magnum Hip proceedings have endorsed the appointment of a special master, saying it would help resolve continuing disagreements with defendants over document production and other discovery issues.
Plaintiffs’ counsel submitted their Memorandum In Support of the appointment of an unspecified special master Oct. 25 to Judge Robert L. Miller Jr., who presides over the MDL in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana and who requested that the parties weigh in on that issue.
