WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has transferred eight federal American Medical Systems Inc. pelvic repair product cases to the multidistrict litigation, finding the actions involve questions of fact that are common to the actions previously transferred to the MDL.
On Oct. 7, the JPML transferred seven actions that were pending in the District of Nevada and one that was pending in the Western District of Texas.
In February, the JPML transferred 80 federal AMS pelvic repair system cases to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia for coordinated or consolidated pretrial proceedings …
