DePuy Pinnacle Cases Stayed Pending Bellwether Trials in MDL

DALLAS – The federal judge overseeing the DePuy Pinnacle Hip litigation has ordered all non-bellwether cases stayed pending trials in bellwether cases that are scheduled to begin in September 2014.
Judge Ed Kinkeade of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas signed the Agreed Order Sept. 30, pending further order of the court.
The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has, to date, transferred more than 1,000 DePuy Pinnacle cases to the MDL pending before Judge Kinkeade.
