MINNEAPOLIS — A Minnesota federal judge has retained jurisdiction over a pelvic mesh case filed against Normedic Inc., ruling the complaint establishes the requisite amount in controversy to satisfy federal jurisdiction requirements.
On Sept. 13, Judge Joan N. Ericksen of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota found the plaintiff failed to establish to a legal certainty that her claim is for less than the requisite amount.
