TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida federal judge has dismissed a second amended complaint in a case alleging injury caused by tainted alcohol pads, finding it contains “numerous repetitive and unnecessary factual allegations and legal conclusions” and fails to support the plaintiff’s claims.
On Aug. 14, Judge James Whittemore of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida concluded the second amended complaint “is not a meaningful improvement over the amended complaint.”
Ruth Marsar sued eight companies, including Sterling Medical Inc. and Triad Pharmaceuticals Inc., claiming allegedly tainted alcohol pads injured her late husband. The District Court dismissed her …
