MDL Court Remands Biomet M2a Hip Case to Originating Indiana State Court

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Parties to a lawsuit in which the plaintiff alleges injuries from the failure of a Biomet M2a Magnum hip device have stipulated to remand from the federal multidistrict proceedings to Indiana state court, where the case was originally filed.
Judge Robert L. Miller Jr., who presides over the Biomet M2a MDL in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, signed a remand order Sept. 3, returning the suit filed by Cheryl Rasmusson to the Circuit Court of St. Joseph County in South Bend (Case No. 71C01-1307-CT-00132).
