MINNEAPOLIS — Parties to a Rhode Island hip case have suggested it be remanded from the Stryker Rejuvenate MDL back to the transferor court, given new claims in an amended complaint of defects in another Stryker device.
Counsel for Joan M. Lewis and Howmedica Osteonics Corp./Stryker Orthopaedics submitted the Joint Motion for Suggestion of Remand to the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota Aug. 19.
The parties note that although Lewis alleged defects in a Stryker Rejuvenate hip system or ABG II device in her original complaint in Rhode Island Superior Court, those claims were not included in …
