SAN DIEGO — A U.S. magistrate judge has denied a joint motion to continue deadlines for expert lists and disclosures in a $2.2 million indemnity lawsuit filed by a hip surgeon against Smith & Nephew (NYSE: SNN), finding no good cause for doing so.
Magistrate Judge Barbara L. Major entered her order Aug. 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, saying the parties were warned during an earlier case management conference that the court would not reschedule deadlines in anticipation of a Smith & Nephew summary judgment motion.
