SAN FRANCISCO — The judge presiding over California’s coordinated DePuy ASR hip implant proceedings has granted a joint motion by seven plaintiffs to amend their complaints to add claims for allegedly defective DePuy Pinnacle Acetabular Cup devices.
San Francisco Superior Court Judge Richard A. Kramer, who presides over the coordinated Pinnacle hip cases, as well, granted the motion July 13, noting that the parties have agreed to allow the amended pleadings.
