TRENTON, N.J. — A New Jersey federal judge has dismissed a class action brought against the maker of a glucosamine/chondroitin supplement, finding the plaintiff failed to show the product’s alleged lead content caused it to be worth less than what he paid.
On June 10, Judge Esther Salas of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey further found the plaintiff did not allege that the product that he personally purchased, and used, contained lead.
