Mass. Judge Transfers All Federal, State Cases Against New England Compounding Pharmacy to Federal MDL

BOSTON — The judge overseeing the multidistrict litigation involving New England Compounding Center Inc. has transferred to the MDL cases pending in federal court or state court in which any party has asserted a claim against NECC or any affiliate.
However, in the May 31 order, Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts refused to transfer cases pending in state courts in which a claim against NECC or an affiliated entity or individual is possible, but has not yet been asserted.
