Tylenol Makers Seek Consolidation of All N.J. Liver Damage Cases

TRENTON, N.J. — McNeil PPC and its parent company Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) seek consolidation of all New Jersey Tylenol liver injury cases in the Middlesex County (N.J.) Superior Court, asserting it would avoid duplicative discovery and inconsistent rulings.
In an April 24 request filed with Active Administrative Director of the Courts Glenn A. Grant, the drug makers argued that consolidation would also conserve judicial resources and promote the interests of justice.
