NEW ORLEANS — A Louisiana federal judge has denied a Triathlon knee plaintiff’s motion to remand to state court a lawsuit against Stryker Corp. and an in-state surgeon, ruling orally after a hearing on the motion.

Judge Jane T. Milazzo of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana memorialized her ruling in a minute entry April 24.

Plaintiff Joyce F. Henderson filed a lawsuit in Louisiana’s 24th Judicial District Court in Jefferson Parish in November, asserting claims against both Stryker, as the manufacturer, and Vinod Dasa, M.D., who implanted Henderson’s Triathlon implant during revision surgery on her …
