Federal Judge Schedules Hearing on Stryker Triathlon Knee Plaintiff’s Remand Motion

NEW ORLEANS — A federal judge has scheduled a hearing for April 24 on a Louisiana woman’s bid to remand her Triathlon knee implant case against Stryker Corp. to state court.

U.S. District Judge Jane T. Milazzo is also considering Stryker’s motion to dismiss Joyce F. Henderson’s complaint for failure to state a claim, but hasn’t scheduled a hearing on that motion as yet.

Henderson filed a lawsuit in Louisiana’s 24th Judicial District Court in Jefferson Parish in November. She has asserted claims against both Stryker, as the manufacturer, and Vinod Dasa, M.D., who implanted Henderson’s Triathlon implant during revision …
