Tylenol Liver Toxicity Lawsuits Consolidated in Pennsylvania

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Dozens of federal lawsuits by individuals who allegedly suffered liver injuries as a result of ingesting Tylenol will be coordinated before a single judge in Philadelphia, a federal judicial panel has ruled.
According to a court filing made public April 1, the Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania has consented to the assignment of Judge Lawrence P. Stengel to preside over a multidistrict litigation docket for all pending and future federal injury cases related to the popular over-the-counter pain reliever.
