3rd Plaintiff Asks for Expedited Trial in Calif. Coordinated DePuy ASR Hip Cases

SAN FRANCISCO — A third plaintiff has moved for an expedited trial setting in the coordinated California DePuy ASR hip cases, asserting that she suffers from pancreatic cancer and is not expected to survive more than six months.

Counsel for Nomalee Tilman said in a declaration filed in the San Francisco Superior Court March 22 that he has provided a supporting medical affidavit to counsel for DePuy and believes that Tilman meets the criteria for preferential trial date.

Counsel has also moved for an expedited deposition of Tilman, to preserve her testimony.
