MDL Judge Orders Wright Medical to Produce More Documents on Physician Payments

ATLANTA — U.S. District Judge William S. Duffey has ordered Wright Medical Technology (NYSE: WMGI) to produce additional documents to plaintiffs in the Conserve hip implant MDL that relate to the company’s deferred prosecution agreement with federal officials over a physician consulting and payment program.

Judge Duffey’s March 18 order specifying what is to be produced came in response to plaintiffs’ request for clarification of an earlier order requiring documents relating payments to physicians and consultants who may have worked on the Conserve line of products.
