ST. LOUIS — The judge overseeing the federal Nuvaring multidistrict litigation granted Organon USA Inc.’s motion to exclude plaintiffs’ expert testimony that NuvaRing and other combined hormonal contraceptives containing third-generation progestins should be taken off the market.
Dr. Scott Roseff's opinion “is the product of unreliable methodology,” and should be excluded pursuant to Federal Rule of Evidence 702, Judge Rodney W. Sippel of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri ruled March 22.
