LOS ANGELES — A California appellate panel considered a recent state Supreme Court opinion on the admissibility of expert testimony upon reconsideration but ruled again that summary judgment awarded to Stryker Corp. (NYSE: SYK) on claims arising from the implantation of a prosthetic femur should be reversed.

The Court of Appeal’s Second Appellate District’s March 6 published opinion is substantially the same ruling it published Nov. 27, but it references the Supreme Court’s same-day holding in _Sargon Enterprises, Inc. v. University of Southern California.
