Plaintiffs in Wright Medical MDL Issue Subpoenas to 2 Outside Consulting Firms

ATLANTA — Plaintiffs in the Wright Medical Technology (NYSE: WMGI) hip implant multi-district proceedings have issued subpoenas to two consulting firms, asking for any documents relating to Wright’s Conserve hip implants and components.

A notice, with copies of the subpoenas, was filed with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia March 1.

The subpoenas were directed to Schwartz Communications, Inc., a Massachusetts-based public relations and communications firm, and Biomedical Statistical Consulting in Pennsylvania and Greg Masilin, its principal biostatistician.
