Parties to Upcoming Calif. Hip Implant Trial Agree to Limit References to Other Lawsuits

OAKLAND, Calif. — Parties to a Wright Technology hip implant suit scheduled for trial next month have submitted their joint pretrial statement agreeing to forego any mention of an unrelated hip case presently in trial.

Counsel for Gregory K. and Rebecca Tucker and Wright Medical Technology Inc. also stipulated March 1 that they will not reference other lawsuits against Wright or other device manufacturers, but may offer evidence of failure rates in Wright’s Profemur hip and similar devices depending on the court’s pre-trial rulings on pending motions.
